Testimonials about Art

Art is nothing but passionate about three things...his faith, his family and his food! He brings to his speaking engagements over 20 years of parish youth ministry and high school campus ministry experience, as well as the benefit of having raised his two children into fine young Catholic adults.  He possesses strength of character, a strong sense of what it means to be a man of God, and a calling to serve God's youth, young adults, and families.  Whether in a gymnasium of students at a rally, at a bar of young adults at Theology on Tap, on a high ropes course with young leaders or in a parish gathered to learn about Divine Mercy, Art brings his passion, experience, knowledge and love of Christ with energy and enthusiasm."

"If youth ministry is like Major League Baseball, then Art Bamert is the MVP. You won’t find a more genuine, caring, sincere and prayerful ministry professional who is still dynamic enough to reach young people and challenging enough to spur adults into action. Be it youth, parents, teachers or others who minister in any way, you want Art Bamert in front of them. Trust me."

"Mr. Bamert is one of the few men I have had the privilege of encountering who has a true love for the Catholic faith, and this passion is quickly heard and seen when he begins speaking. His commanding presence is balanced with a quick sense of humour and a wise insight to any topic. Throughout my four years of high school, I have never heard of one negative comment said in regards to Mr. Bamert."

"I have known and worked with Art Bamert for over a decade. He is the real deal: authentic, passionate and 100% orthodox Catholic! I have hired him to speak several times and he has never received a negative response. He can speak to teens, adults or anyone in between. I recommend him highly and with confidence. I'm sure you will come to see, as I have, that Art is a gifted and enthusiastic preacher of the Faith."

"I am a 54 year old new Catholic..  In my faith journey, I strive to surround myself with as many holy Catholic are role models as I can. One of the first people whom I credit in that circle is Art Bamert. I have known Art for 8 years both professionally and personally. I have him to thank for his inspiration and leadership.  It has taken a small village in my case to bring me home to the Catholic church.  To me, Art models the Catholic man in a manner that I aspire to.  He is a walking encyclopedia on the faith and practices in a way that anyone would like to emulate.  He prepares daily to know love and serve in every way. He is a humble servant of our Lord, a devoted teacher, husband and father.  He reflects all the values the church professes.  I only hope that I have enough time left upon this earth to grow into a similar Catholic man. His expertise and passion for Youth Ministry to high school students is unique and exemplary.  His grasp of Catholic Education and how it relates to this complex world for our students is multi-faceted. Everything Art does is with an “All In” attitude. "

"As a plaid-skirt-wearing Catholic school kid since age four, I always went through the routine of going to Mass, giving something up for Lent, etc. during my childhood.  However, I didn't truly choose my faith until my teenage years and Art Bamert had everything to do with that. Art was the youth minister at Seven Sorrows School and when we entered the junior high, he offered Q&A sessions where we could talk with him about anything faith-related over donuts and hot chocolate.  Admittedly, I was mostly excited for the Dunkin on those days, but the more I heard him speak, the more I showed up for the conversation.  Art is a truly kind and devout man, but he is also a spitfire with a sense of humor and a real knack for commanding a room or an audience.  At age 13, I began to really process what he was teaching us about Catholicism, about what happens on the altar, about our call to live out God's Word. Art continued to be a positive male influence in my life and during my junior year of high school, he followed me out of Mass one day to convince me to attend a Kairos retreat.  I had originally heard that no cellphones were allowed during this four-day retreat weekend and I was not excited about the idea of it.  However, Art continued to encourage me and I eventually attended what became the most important event in my faith life.  Kairos (meaning "God's time") was everything I needed in order to truly fall for Catholicism and all that comes with it.  It shaped the strength of my faith and it provided me with the courage to live it out in the real world. This past summer I moved to Los Angeles and Art continues to provide spiritual guidance while I chase my acting career in an industry and a city that are so often the opposite of holy.  He leads by example and demonstrates how to live according to God's plan and will.  I am so grateful for the influence he has had on my faith life and I will continue to seek conversation with him for extra wisdom, a good laugh, and reassurance that the harder paths in life are the ones worth taking."
